"Finished"!


After two years of work, last week I did what theoretically is the game's last scenes: the boss fight for the third world and the ending animation. While there still are lots of work to be done (hence the quotation marks on the title), bugs to be fixed, beta tests to be run and so on, the idea that I actually have a game now -- with a beginning and an end -- filled me with excitation.  I've been "playing" with game making for a while now (I started out with the RPGMaker95+, back in 99 or something like that), but this has never been (and still isn't) my main occupation and I had never reached the end of any project, so forgive me if I'm rushing to call it done.

Anyway, on this last version uploaded (the 4th alfa released), players should be able to go through all stages on Story Mode and thus follow the whole of the game's plot. Infinite Mode has also been updated: the tunnel walls are randomly generated and flying should be a little easier.

Next, I'll add a "settings menu" to allow the player to tweak a bit with acceleration, buttons placement (for mobile play) and the ship's size (so as to make the game easier or harder).

Since development started on july 2020 (it is my pandemic project after all), I hope to get these done by the next month, for the game's 2 year anniversary...
